Shooting Campout

Yesterday, our troop went on a campout. We went to Mr. Garfield's house. At the camp, we shot plenty of guns. Some of the guns we shot were rifles, AK-47s, revolvers, shotguns, and pistols. We had a lot of fun, and no one got hurt! It was great.

Scout Auction

Yesterday at 6:30 PM, we held an auction to raise money for the troop. There were over 75 items for auction and a majority of the ward came. Almost all the scouts were there and we helped set up around 5:00. After the silent auctioning, there was a heated live auction. Since almost everyone bid on something, we raised over $5,000 for the scout troop!  It was a huge success!

Polar Bear Camp Out

On Friday the 28th the troop went no a camp out. But this was no regular camp out this was a Polar Bear camp out.once everyone got to the church we had Connor, Jared, Kai, JL, and me Matthew. Along with Brother Lubin, Peterson, and Cappel. The destination point was the start of the appellation trail. When we got there around 6 0'clock. We had the best view of Atlanta the lights we amazing. i have never seen so many stars in one place. After setting up the tents we had a great breakfast of Dinty Moore. Soon the temperature was between 20 to 30 degrees. So after a cold and good nights sleep we woke up to an amazing sun rise. The scouts soon had a fire built and we had a good breakfast of oatmeal and hot chocolate. after breakfast Connor and me hiked up the mountain that was right next to our camp site. but we didn't follow the trail because we were short on time. after climbing so rock and logs we got to the top and saw at a 360 degree's. It was an amazing, breath taking view. soon we were coming down and got lost until we saw a pink marker we found on the way up. Soon we were at the camp site and were on our way home.
